Society is not an act of God
it is ruled by people

ETHOS

The genesis of history as a discipline is deeply rooted in imperialism and exclusivity. In learning about the process of constructing a historical narrative, we are invested in a history that is not omniscient nor linear.

A history that honours oral text, performance, the musicality of African and Caribbean languages, Black dialects and accents. A multidisciplinary approach in exploring our tangible and intangible heritage.
